Operation nimrod

Bought a set of 3 S.A.S in the kit made famous by the Iranian Embassy Siege , they came off the internet with no manufacturers detials and with no instructions they were sold as 1/16th scale which is about right . They went together very well and over all are quite nice one is knealing throwing a smoke canister/stun Grenade holding a MP3 one has a shotgun witha MP3 on his back and the other has quite a wierd rifle type weapon all have holstered pistols and MP3 magazines . Just need to put them into asuitable diorama setting.

managed to get a few more figures for StarGate finished including the star gate its self ,although still got lots top do , will try to get some stats done for a Pulp Alley game using teh figures I have done so far still lots to do probably use Rogue Warrior once I have them all done .

Hellboy -The Dice Game

I got the Hellboy Dice Game as afreebie with the last Hellboy Kickstarter and never tried it until tonight . Its a simple little game but a lot of fun we managed 3 games in less than an hour ,it uses the same dice as the board game and comes with anumber of cards specifically made for the dice game . Players take it in turns to turn over a card ,most of which involve rolling dice to fight the monsters , once you ahve used all your dice pool or have taken 3 wounds then your turn is over first player to get 15 clues wins .The rules are one page and easily learnt Simple but fun

Robin Hood

Had a great solo game of Pulp Alley Robim Hood versus the Sherif of Nottingham . Robin Hoods League had Robin ,Marion, Little John ,Friar Tuck and Will Scarlett with a gang of 5 Archers the opposing League was The Sheriff with Guy of Gisbourne , Lord Essex ,Seth the Game keeper and a gang of 6 cross bow men . The game was set to last six turns and if it had lasted that number Robins Men would have easily won but cards extended the game to 8 turns allowing the Bad guys to make a last minute rally and almost steal a win but the merry men managed to pip them at the post walking away the victors . The figures are mainly Footsore but thye Crossbow men are Victrix all the buildings are Sarissa
