More Nam then on to Afghanistan
Got in 2 games of Belloludi Vietnam first game had Johns NVA lying in wait for the Aussie patrol a really quick win for the Vietnamese as the cards went against the Anzacs forcing an early withdrawel so a Victory for John .
The second game last alot longer but I wish it hadnt the VC ambushes took aheavy toll on the Aussies and it was adefinate victory for the NVA with almost all the Anzacs either getting wounded or killed .
Photos from both game below
Next we got in 2 games of the FOF/Ambush Alley enduring freedom supplement the first my Brits were dealing with Johns Taliban and did a great job taking out the taliban which suffered from alack of leaders getting rolled for during the reinforcement stages plus the Taliban seemed top arrive at the wrong Hotspots
Second Game i ran the taliban and John brought his french on , I got my initial deployment wrong so the French dealt with my forces pretty easy at first I ahd lost a lot of tribesmen and 3 technicals before the French were half way across the board ,howevewr I had been lucky that I had rolled an I.E.D in my initail forces and then a Fog of War card gave me another ,the fisrt bomb did nothing but the next turn the French managed to roll opne of their vehicles on a smooth road I tried not to laugh but I had to . after spending 3 turns getting the vehicle back upright and making a mess of my Taliban at the same time , Johns French ran straight into my second I.E.D which destroyed bith his vehicles and killed or wounded all his troops , a great day for the Jihad .
Again a selection of pics from both games .

Vietnam Week
I played a solo game of BelloLudi Vietnam My Australian SAS bumping into a NVA paytol , a nice simple set of rules that keep the period well and I plan to play a game against John as soon as we can .
The pictures below are from thge game THE SAS pulled off an easy victory .
Figures are all Empress
Next got a couple of fame of Force on Force Ambush Valley ,in the first game I used my Anzacs against Johns VC . John used his tunnels to great effect and caused quite a few casualties but I amnaged to Scrape avictory on points but only just .
The second game my NVA attacked Johns Firebase full of US Marines , I did what I thought the most obviuos tactic and just charge with everything I had and it worked almost wiping out the Americans to a man .
As LAway the Ambush Alley games are excellent such a shame they disapered .
Pictures below from the two games

Rogue Warrior
Played a couple of games of Rogue Warrior over the last few days , a simple starter to show John how the games play he had 4 SAS against my 4 Contractors ,we called it a draw as Johns SAS made a tactical withdrawel from the table preventing my complete victory .
The second was using the Tour of Duty supplement again this played very well with the Australian SAS having a great victory over the NVA .
Really enjoyed the games and John was impressed he has ordered the main rules and a couple of the campaign books .
A few pics below ,figures in the modern game were Spectre and assault group the Nam figures were all Empress

Belloludi Nam 1st game
Played my first game of Belloludi's Vietnam rules ,the scenario was basic so I couyld try out most of the rules and I must admiot I really enjoyed the games .
The set up was a SAS patrol bumpimh into an NVA force and the regular Anzacs coming on to help ,it was a bloody and fun game and I must advise you to get the card deck it added so much to the game and helped the NVA to a close victory when two of the Aussie sections were handed cards that made them both move away to investigate dust on opposite table edges ,the Command dice seemed to dislike both commanders who kept rolling Zero or Blunders and it was up to the lower ranks on both sides to carry the fight and I must give praise to the Brave Aussie nedic who tried his best to keep the freeworld in the game .
played the game twice the first game lasted about 50 minutes and the second around 90 minutes both games had just ove 30 figures per side and I was using the 1 sided play sheet after the first couple of turns only needing to clarify rules in the book a couple of times .
Need to get painting my WW1 stuff so I can have a proper game of that version as well
A few pictures of the board and figures below ,I will attempt to do aturn by turn write up on my next game

ANZACs in NAM
Bought myself some 28mm Vietnam Anzacs and NVA to use for Belloludi Vietnam .
The figures are all Empress miniatures and they are great ,full of detail especially the SASR which carry the modified SLRs ,M16s and M60
I have finished the Anzacs now need to crack on with the NVA
the Command team and Medic
The first section , 2 NCOs a pair of scouts with owen guns ,a m60 team and a 4 man rifle section
Second Section same as first but the scouts have m16s and the M60 team are prone
and finally 2 sections of SASR , in Vietnam the SAS went from the normal 4 man sections to 5 man ,a mixture of weapons , kit and camo
