Two characters from the last Hellboy Kickstarter from mantic games ,only another 70 odd to do .

Korean Project Update
Thought I would keep posting progress reports even if only to keep my interest going , I easy get led away to other projects .
Still only doing a few figures just to make sure I am happy with the colours and basing .
During the winter the British and Commonwealth troops were supplied with UA army parkas but I have done acouple of the officers in para smocks which dont really show upp in the pics and ythe senior officers in duffle coats .
The Army packs are great value covering all you need in Command Stands ,Infantry and HMG's and Mortors ,I bought a few single packs of troops throwing grenades and carrying LMGs just to add variation ,some tanks and Jeeps just to add to the command stands.
I have tried to keep to the basing reccomendations but they are not critical so the British HMGs ended up on round bases just because they hung over the reccomended sizes .
Really impressed with the rules and also the quality of the book and the free downloads such as the army lists shown below

My Winter Project -Korea the forgotten war
Decided to set myself a project with the target of being completed and ready to game by March 23 .
So my choice was the Korean war and decided on British and Chinese troops in winter gear ,also decided on a new scale ,for me anyway 10mm .
So ordered a couple of army packs and some odd bits from Pendraken along with their rules Cold War Commander 2 ,I already have acouple of sets that could handle this conflict but liked the write ups for these plus Pendraken have lots of online free stuff such as army lists and rules for weather etc on their forum.
So below are some work in progress pics ,a stand of chinese scouts done as a test and a centurion and some brits in various stages of painting ,I will keep regular updates going even if only to spur me on.

SPECTRE OPERATIONS- 3 Games
Managed to get 3 games in this week ,all Spectre Operations ,The first game was a Falklands war game with 4 S.A.S trying to get to a ruined farm touse aas aobsevation post , unfortunately for them 2 , 4 man teams of ArgentiniaN Commandoes were trying to do the same .
The Game lasted 5 turns with the Argentines just edging a victory by taking out 3 of the SAS but losing 3 of their own in the battle .
The Second game was Falklands again theis Time British Paras taking on some Argentine Marines ,The Marines were well dug in but a cunning plan of 4 PAras shootoing while 4 moved in paid off and after 5 turns the Paras had one man wounded and the Marines had lost 5 KIA and another bleeding out so they failed their morale roll and surrendered .
The 3rd Game we changed war and time and adding quite abit of fiction by having Canadian troops taking on the Iraqi Republican guard ,this lasted 9 turns before the Canadians managed to over run the Republican Guard .
You will notice the more I got into the action the fewer pictures I took , we were going to play another game but ran out of time ,the pie and peas were calling but the next game would have used my SAS counter terrorism team pictured here with their snassy transport . .All the falklands stuff is my Grippiong Beast kit the Iraqi's and Canucks are Johns TAG Iraqis and he canot remember who the Canadians were from , the unused SAS are Spectre Miniatures and the cars die casts
