Tarzan and the missing Princesses

Had aquick Solo Pulp alley ,this time Tarzan was hot on the trail of the missing Princesses sadly so were the Banton Gang . The Princesses were the plot points, Jane and Boy sucummed to the Bantons gunfire but the lord of the jungle came good securing a narrow victory .

More Lovecraft Beasties

Had the chance to go through a lot of my figure collections over the weekend and managed to get a lot of Cthulu inspired creatures gathered together ,some of these are over 30 years old and a few were painted by Tony "Gunta " Cheetham , gone but never forgotton . These will be appearing in some Fear of the Dark and Pulp Alley games over the winter time.

The Predator

Bought Some great models of the main Characters from the Arnold Swarzenegger movie ,fantastic models from phalanx printing on Etsy the detail on the figues and even the bases is amazing , Ive included a close up of the Dutch base and a few from the game which Dutch and the team just won after losing a couple of guys and getting tehh Predator into a cross fire . I used the solo scenario Bungle in the Jungle from the classified supplement for Force on Force , I made a few changes and did some stats for the characters and had some great fun .I am working on a set of quick play rules for the Predator and Aliens movies as well so plan to get some use out of the toys and give me self an excuse to watch the classic movies a few more times . Hellboy - a painting Frenzy

Realised it was a year since `i had painted any Hellboy stuff, so cracked on and managed to paint a lot of stuf. The Box full of Evil ,The counter upgrade set ,The Wild Hunt Expansion and the single figures of Baba Yaga and the Giant Hellboy Robot all finished ,just leaving me the Hecate Figure and the B.P.R.D expansion to paint . That is umtil the new kickstarter stuff arrives next year ,really love this game.

H.P.Lovecraft

I am slowly building my Lovecraft /Cthulu figures but to get some inspiration I dug out my copy of the Necronomicon ,the best wierd tales of H.P.Lovecraft .I have had it for at least 20 years .The book not only contains over 30 of his best stories and poems but is illustrated with some fantastic art work and a great Biography and study of his works and his legacy .I also did alittle figure of Lovecraft reading one of his Books with a few tentacles bursting from its pages ,He can now take part in my games.

A Little `bit of Love....craft

I have always been a massive fan OF H.P.Lovecraft and some of my best gaming memories are running the RPG call of Cthulu games at Sheffield Wargames Society and the Wargames Emporium with my brother John ,best mate John ,little john ,Ian Goadsby and the sadly missed Tony Cheetham and Tony Cousins ,some great nights and loads of fun as Little John always did the one thing you should never do ,lots of long lived charecters died due to him opening the wrong door or speaking the wrong chant. Anyway with a couple of Lovecraft based scenarios coming out for Pulp Alley and a new rule set based on Lovecrafts works called fear of the dark I have started painting up some bits ,here are my Deep ones and some hybrids to stalk the streets of Innsmouth . All but one of them are Nortstar figures
