Trench system

Finished a lot of my 28mm trench and broken ground I picked up from Kallistra about 2 yrs ago ,spurred on by stumbling through into round 2 of the Guild Painting contest and this was the only terrain I had laying around that was not finished. Really nice pieces I added the interior detail made from coffee stirrers and abit of barbed wire to the broken ground ,I had a few pond pieces which I filled with a muddy mix of paint and gloss varnish .

Hull Veterans Day 2014

A great day out in Hull ,lots of reenactors and Military items on view ,felt a bit ill so left early and missed the BBMF and Red Arrows sadly.

A practice game for sundays Joy of Six show , Iraqis v Americans ,some of the terrain is still not finished but we knocked some creases out of the rules and had fun in the process.

WIP trenches

With having my operation and getting stuff ready for the joy of six , I forgot about the fact I was through to round 2 of the guilds painting contest ,the subject this time is terrain so its given me the reason to get the trench bits I got about 2years ago and crack on with them ,so wall and floor panelling with coffee stirers and some barbed wire and other bits and pieces they should look the part .
