More for Northern Ireland

After completing the required figures I moved on to vehicles and was looking for scenery . The vehicles I got a Humber Pig and a Saracen from Battlefield 3D both are superb ,no clean up or sanding was needed I also bough a Hotspur Land Rover from Butlers Printed models again nice but lots of sanding needed and the lines can still be seen .The crimes toppers decals came from Butlers and these are superb , I also bought a lot of decals for my 15mm IDF as the decals supplied with the battlefront models were awful . As for scenery I looked at Warbases new Table ready Scenery and orderd a single terraced house and acouple of fields and I cannot poraise these enough ,the building comes ready painted and was ultra easy to put together ,probably the easiest MDF kit I have built , it comes so you can easily detach the roof and upper floors to place figures inside and my 1st Corp figures match up nicely with the vehicles and buildings.

Muskets and Tomahawks

Ive been struck down with a really painful throat infection but managed to get my first game of Muskets and Tomahaks 2 in before I lost my voice and found my self struggling to do most things .I must admit I enjoyed playing the first version of M&T and was looking forward to v2 until i recieved it and found out the supplements , cards and tokens were really poor quality so put off playing until now. Well the game is excellent really enjoyed playing it and we were playing without too much consultation  of the books after a couple of moves ,The game itself went back and forth and we were not sure who would win until the very last move , a very exciting and bloody adventure with the Brits stealing the game in the end .The random drawer of cards which can give you your opponents cards to play actually added alot of suspense and made it very tactical . Below are aseries of pics from the game , mat and table by Urbanmatz ,buildings mainly 4ground with the barn from warbases ,the pigsty was charlie foxtrot the treees fencing etc a mix of show bought and home made .The figures mainly Galloping Major with some AW and a few warlord /conquest) .

Sharps Practice French Indian War

Played my first Sharps Practice game today , very easy to pick up and great fun .Ended up a draw with niether side being able to claim their objectives ,the French did really well after rolling an awful morale rating at the start of the game .The tiffin token came out early in the first two rounds which didnt help  the brits. Figures mainly Galloping Major but some conquest which I now believe belong to Warlord.Buildings 4 Ground and warbases trees and other bits from many different places including home made mat from urbanmatz
Poor French `morale roll at the start didnt look good

The BRitish Morale was much better
