another weeks gaming

Still off work so got some more games in ,the first was a solo pulp Alley which had the local police looking for lost hikers in the woods ,the hkers (bodies ) were the plot points they only managed to find help from the local hillbilly who pointed them in the right direction which sadly for them led them to Jason of Friday the 13th fame ,this with some bad cards led to the quick demise of the `Sheriff and his deputies .

The next game was a rorgue warrior I had 4 special opsJohn had 12 regulars ,the special ops won in spectacular style

The next 2 games were Pulp Alley the first was the Dead Rise scenario John and myself played this as a coop game and won on the last turn ,the next was the Preacher scenario again coop John had Minervas Mercs and I had Phantom Agenst ,I forgot my Ghost figures so Zombies had to stand in for those again a close run victory on the last turn again .

Tiger Blood Campaign , mission 1

We did the first misssion in the Tiger Blood Campaign " April 1987 " .John played the Special ops team and I took the Toros Tigers . It was a Hostage rescue scenrio with a time limit of 2 turns . It was quite bloody affair with Johns SAS losing 3 out of the four man team and 2 of ine taking multiple hits needless to say this fiorst game was a Toros Tigers Victory , Viva the revolution A few pictures from the Game

2 weeks Gaming

I have been ill again so went to stay in out caravan for a rest and managed ot get some quality gaming in . I gamed a solo game by Mike Lambo ,Battles in Medieval Britain I gamed the Hastings scenario and got soundly beaten by the A.I Next John brought round a card Gmae he had bought Inca Treasure , it is a simple game but loads of fun even though john beat me 3-1 Next we amnaged afew games of Rogue Warrior first game was a solo warrior with 3 tactical assualt dogs ,in this ganme the dogs were lethal taking out 3 of the 4 enemy warriors next we did a SAS V Delta force game which ended up a draw simply as no one was in awinning position . Next we played 2 games from the original rule book the first JULY 2012 I won with my SAS managing to capture the vehicle and VIP on the last turn Finally we tried the swarm game I played the warriors and John ran the swarm of recruits I survived 24 turns and killed 17 of Johns forces . SG 1

managed to get a few more figures for StarGate finished including the star gate its self ,although still got lots top do , will try to get some stats done for a Pulp Alley game using teh figures I have done so far still lots to do probably use Rogue Warrior once I have them all done .

The Troubles

A small project for 2026 will be a small to large scale skirmish game set during the "troubles " in Northern Ireland using 1St Corpos newish range of 28mm FiguresArmy Vehicles such as the Humber Pig will be from Battlefield 3D , civilin cars will be variuos Die Casts suitable for the period ,Building will probably be the Red Brick ready painted range from warbases . Purchased afew figures to test the water and they are really nice and paint up Nicely. Rules will be rogue Warrior for small scale and Combat patrol using the winter of discontent for a larger skirmish First up are some of the RUC figures these are armed with rifles , there is another pack in the range i donot have yet

Next are a set of undercover S.A.S or DET all carrying small SMG's or pistols

And the last lot are 10 I.R.A terrorists /Freedom fighters depending which side you are on ,wearing a mix of balaclavas or scarfs covering their faces they are mainly armed with assault rifles but 2 are ready to take on the armies vehicles with a molotov and a RPG launcher .

Star Gate SG1

Trying to cut back on my figure mounting started on the Star Gate figures I ahve , a huge box of figures ,scenaery and stuff from the film ,TV series and RPG all figures are by Papsikels . The first 4 completed are Jack ONeil , Daniel Jackson ,Samantha Carter and Teal'c

Maybe used for Pulp Alley or Rogue warrior .

Rogue Warrior 2 games

Got in 2 games of rogue warriors over a much deserved break from work . The first had 4 IDF warriors versus 8 Insurgent regular rating using the Asymmetric rules first brought in in the Tour of Duty supplement A very bloody meeting with the IDF taking out 7 of the Insurgents and rescuing the 2 hostages but at the cost of 2 of their team . The second game involved a 4 man team of Special Forces battl;ing a 4 man team of contractors ,again very bloody with the sole surviving SF trooper capturing the brief case with the secret palkns . Alwway great fun with these rules , assorted pics from both games , IDF are white Dragon figures all the others are amix of spectreresin figures from Etsy or Ebay
