Rogue Warrior 2 games
Got in 2 games of rogue warriors over a much deserved break from work .
The first had 4 IDF warriors versus 8 Insurgent regular rating using the Asymmetric rules first brought in in the Tour of Duty supplement
A very bloody meeting with the IDF taking out 7 of the Insurgents and rescuing the 2 hostages but at the cost of 2 of their team .
The second game involved a 4 man team of Special Forces battl;ing a 4 man team of contractors ,again very bloody with the sole surviving SF trooper capturing the brief case with the secret palkns .
Alwway great fun with these rules , assorted pics from both games , IDF are white Dragon figures all the others are amix of spectreresin figures from Etsy or Ebay

Pulp Alley -Summon the master
Recently bought Miniature Wargames Magazine which had a scenario for Pulp Alley written by Chris at Sally 4th Games who by the way is the stcokist for all Pulp Alley official products plus tons of other stuff as well .
The Scenario was a great introduction to the game for the grand daughter as this adventure had the Scooby Do gang as the heroes and they had to solve the plot points to prevent the cultists summoning the Master .
We palyed the game and although we had loads of fun those pesky kids failed misarably cards and dice roills went against us and the master was summoned to do what he does best and destroy the world .
So Much fun was had we replayed it with a different starting point and a set of tactics which involved runnung across the board and to take what ever the horror deck gave us , this proved a better tactic we solved 3 of the 4 plot points and Daphne has a great scrap with the master while Scooby, shaggy and Velma took out 3 of the cultists and the dark priest ,sadlky the masters dice rolling skills were better and he again just stole the game .
A few Pictures below from the two attempts , the gang are Hassle free , the van is a old die cast and the cultits and dark priest are Crooked dice the master is avery old Cthulu miniature .
Cards are either the decks bought from Sally 4th or the free downloads for use with this scenario again from the Sally 4th web store .

Rogue Warrior : Ice Base Zero Campaign .
Eventually got round to playing Mission 2 Breach & Clear of the Campaign .
This time my Royal Marines won by taking out 3 of Johns team a nice simple take out more than your opponent game , very enjoyable and we both decided drones are pretty naff or maybe its just our dice rolling that naff ,neither of us did any damage with the drones and both of us chose storm piercer drones and after numerous attempts and causing no damge we both rolled double 1's to cause permanant joams to take them out of action.
Looking forward to the next mission

The Last of the Mohicans - Pulp Alley
One of my favourite Movies the Daniel Day Lewis version of the classic Last of the Mohicans lends its small skirmishes to Pulp Alley rule set very well and a free down load of cards made it easy to set up for a quick solo game .
Hawkeye and His father and Brother had to try and find Cora ,Alica and Major Haywood before Maqua and his warband could claim them as his pize .
A really great game with a cinematic showdown between Chingachook and Maqua finally gave the goodguys a victory .
Took some pictures during set up but forgot todo any during the game .

Muskets & Tomahawks
Not played these for a long time but John recently started painting up some AWI figures and was looking for a rule set so dug my figures out for the FIW and played a simple (we thought ) scenario .
Johns Fench had to defend a village and my Brits were to capture or kill 3 traitors that were with the French .The French claimed a narrow victory
We both enjoyed the game and Johns chosen these for his AWI project .
A few pictures of the game ,figures mainly the excellent Galloping major ones but a few odd ones from other ranges .
