Green Howards Museum

A little break from the recent posts ,I recently visited the Green Howrds Museum in Richmond and what an enjoyable visit it was ,photographs ,medals ,videos ,paintings ,medals, uniforms and medals are all displayed with great care and easy viewing, you begin your visit on the top floor and follow the regiments history from the start to today ,every campaign is covered withsome fascinating items on show .There is an Olympic room showing the connection with the regiments men and women and the events they took part in but also puts each games in context with world events .This is a recommended visit for any one interested in the British Army .
